Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to second shoot for one of my favorite people, Marie! I’ve second shot for her a handful of times now, and it’s always a blast with her! It’s not often that I go out to the Inland Empire, but if it’s to shoot a wedding with Marie, I’m there in a heartbeat! I also had an good time hanging out with her daughter.
We went to the couple’s beautiful home and were taken aback by the beautiful backyard. Their wedding coordinator, Susie, really did an amazing job.
Here are just a few of the photos!

Pretty pretty blue everywhere!

LOVE the colored vase!

The sunset was absolutely gorgeous.

I had so much fun! Thanks again, Marie!

Just a little while ago, I had the opportunity to take photos of a newborn baby. She was born at the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance and she was just born in the last 24 hours when I arrived at the hospital. I’ve seen newborn babies and infants before, but never THAT new born! She was the so precious! Her little hands and feet were so cute, but man, that little one has some lungs!! Anyway, here she is!

Yesterday, I had a blast hanging out with some new photography friends at the Los Angeles County Fair. We took a bunch of photos while we walked around. The weather was excellent… not too hot, not too cold. I should have gone on the rides. My mind says, “YES! Go on them!” but my body rejects the idea. boo~!
Anyway, here are some favorites from the day!
Some shots with lots of sky!

This was the camera that Hiro took photos with! So cute!

This was next to a cute cupcake stand. Too bad the cupcakes were just…’meh’. :p

We also went into this exhibition where they had flowers arrangements! Apparently, I was more interested in the fruits/food! lol

We had to stop by the petting zoo. This adorable baby goat was born at midnight earlier that day! So CUTE! We couldn’t pet these, though.

Then, I found this chick… with no face. I could not for the life of me find the face! All I saw was a big white poof with a beak! haha!!

We walked by the Mexican Funnel Cake stand and this boy looked like he was eating a huge one on a little stage. Turns out, it’s one of those challenges. If he can eat the whole thing, he gets it for free. There’s a time limit of 20 minutes and when this photo was taken, he only had 5 minutes left. I don’t think he finished…

Ferris wheel!

My friends decided they MUST go on the Euro Slide! It looked like so much fun!

Now, for some long exposure shots! I love going to the fair just for these! :)

Last Saturday, I decided to meet up with new friends and walk around Balboa Island to take some photos with them! I haven’t been there since I went to college at UC Irvine, and I’ve never actually been on the ferry to go over to the pier.
I had an amazing time with my new friends! See what photography can do? Bring you closer to people that you would otherwise never meet! :)
Here are a few shots from that day! Enjoy~!!
There were lots of people on bikes. I miss mine! Maybe I should get one and ride it around Long Beach…

I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this cow! LOL

This was a tiny thing in front of someone’s front yard… is it a mermaid dolphin flashing a thumbs-up?

The ferris wheel at Balboa Island! I should have gone on it!!!

Lots of sweet puppies there, too!

So, I guess eating a frozen banana is as MUST here. How could I say ‘no’ to a MUST? :p

Gorgeous sunset!

I love taking photos at sunset and right after the sunset. The colors are amazing at that time!

Then, we ate at The Boiling Crab! We had to wait over an hour to be seated, but it was SO worth it!! If you haven’t gone, and you love seafood, you have to go!! I’ll go with you! LOL

So, here it is. My first post on this photography blog. Why did I start a new blog when I already have this one? I wanted something that marked this big step I’m taking into the world of business in photography. I wanted a place where I can focus more on photography and let you in on it. Of course, I’ll still write about what’s happening in my life… how can I resist? I love to eat, I love to play taiko, I’m married to an amazing guy, I have two funny cats, etc, etc, and these are things that are part of me, just as much as photography is. So, in posting entries here, I hope that you’ll get to know me, as well as my photography.
I’m working on my website and this blog will have many face lifts along the way, I’m sure. Let me know if you have suggestions or just leave a comment saying that you were here!!
Thanks for stopping by! I can’t wait to start this journey and I hope you come with me!
Oh, and make sure to stop by here for more tidbits about me!
