Hi!! My name is Yuri Yoshida! Here’s a little bit about me. 

I love photography.  Ever since I was little, I was always the one with a camera in my hands.  I wanted to capture everything and be able to tell stories later on.  I wanted to remember everything just the way it happened.

Photography also saved me.  Whenever I need a boost in my life, photography is always there.  There was one time when I wanted to learn more about it and do more than point and shoot.  I immersed myself in classes, assignments, projects, research… and it really made me happy.  I felt alive.  That’s when I knew, photography and I will be together for a long time.

I love the process that goes with taking photos.  It’s amazing getting to know the people I’m shooting and getting you to shine so that the photos reflect who you are!  I’d love to capture your joy, your emotions, and well… you!

I am, um, kind of obsessed with reality shows…

When I was little, I wanted to be a doctor… or a flight attendant… or a broadway musical star!

I’ve lived in Japan, Germany, Illinois, and several places in Southern California!

I currently live in Southern California!
